An unmanned vehicle follows a curved path, beginning at O and ending at A, of length 18 m. At the speed of the vehicle is 12 m/s and it has slowed to 6 m/s at A. The tangential deceleration of the vehicle is proportional to the distance from 0. a) Write an equation for tangential acceleration. b) Find the constant of proportionality in your equation. c) If the resultant acceleration at A is 10 m/s?, determine the radius of the curved path at A. Hint: Don't forget that the vehicle has both tangential and centripetal acceleration. In part (c), you should aim to write an expression for the resultant acceleration with radius as the only unknown.
