1) Design a discrete time Echo filter in order to process the demo signal Splat, using Fs 8192 Hz. The filter should pass the original signal unchanged and the first echo should be located at 0.8 seconds with 25% attenuation and the second echo should be located at 1.3 seconds with 30% attenuation. a) Find the filter unit sample response in terms of delayed unit samples: h[n] b) Find H(z) c) Find the discrete filter difference equation. d) Plot the signal before and after filtering in the time domain. e) Plot the signal before and after filtering using in the time frequency domain (use spec gram as depicted in your notes and/or videos). 1) Include MATLAB code in your report showing commented code for all previous steps. Submit email that includes technical report and a MATLAB .m file in a zip folder by the due date. h) Include this original page after the report cover page. .
