PRELAB PROCEDURES 1. Construct the schematic diagrams of the Wien bridge oscillator shown in Figure 1 by using Multisim software. With Ri = R2 = 10 k12 and C = C2 = 0.1 uF, simulate the circuit and carefully adjust the 1 k 2 potentiometer until the output waveform has the least amount of distortion. Next, observe the input (Vin) and output (out) waveforms. Evaluate and record the oscillation frequency and phase-shift of these waveforms. 2. Construct the schematic diagrams of the RC phase-shift oscillator shown in Figure 2. With R = R2 = R3 = 1 k12 and C = C2=C3= 0.22 uF, simulate the circuit and carefully adjust the 1 MC2 potentiometer until the output waveform has the least amount of distortion. Next, observe the input (Vin) output (out) waveforms. Evaluate and record the oscillation frequency of these waveforms. Then, measure and record the phase- shift of the feedback circuit (V1, V2, V:) and output (Vout) waveforms. 3. Complete the pre-calculation values in Table 1 and Table 2. NOTE: Please set the potentiometer increment value to l%.
