The lamp in the circuit below represents an AC induction motor.
It is controlled by the Triac which is driven by the MOC3021 which
is supplied with 5V DC. Why is the lamp not receiving the full 230V
AC supply when S1 is closed? Kindly provide an amended
circuit that will make it receive the full AC supply
