The components 1, 5 and 6 are type X and the components 2, 3 and 4 are type Y. All components are independent. Type X components have a hazard function h(t) = 0.25t and type Y components have a hazard function h(t) = Y 0.1t i) Determine the Birnbaum's importance measure of the component 2 at t = 0.5. (5 marks) ii) Determine the criticality importance measure of the component 4 at t = 1. (5 marks) iii) Determine the Fussell-Vesely importance measure of the component 6 at t = 2. (5 marks) Write the answers correct to 2 decimal places.
