An employee comes to you and says she is pregnant and wants to
know what leave she is entitled to. Your company has 60
employees. Your company provides all required
leaves. Your company’s policy also provides 8 weeks of
paid parental leave to all employees for baby
bonding only, but if the employee is also entitled to leave
under the CFRA, the paid parental leave will count against the
leave the employee is entitled to under CFRA. All leaves
are unpaid, except for the 8 weeks of paid parental leave provided
by the company or if paid leave is required by law.

If the employee has been employed for two years, tell the
employee how much pregnancy leave and how much baby bonding leave
she is entitled to. For each leave, tell her how much of
the leave is paid and how much is unpaid.
If the employee has been employed for one month, tell the
employee how much pregnancy leave and how much baby bonding leave
she is entitled to. For each leave, tell her how much of
the leave is paid and how much is unpaid.
