1.Madam Jessica who died two months ago had two children, Adam
and Billy. During her life, Madam Jessica entered into an agreement
with Chris, the person who occupied the land belonging to Madam
Jessica for free during Madam Jessica’s life to pay Adam rent of
RM500.00 a month after Madam Jessica died. Chris did not want to
pay the rent to Adam after Madam Jessica’s death on the grounds
that Adam was not a party to the agreement and did not provide
consideration to the agreement between Madam Jessica’s and Chris.
Prior to her death, Madam Jessica had also changed her name on a
separate piece of land to Billy’s name without any payment. The
transfer is registered and made in writing. Adam is dissatisfied
and intends to challenge the transfer of the land as invalid.
