Additional Reflex Activity - Blink Reflex 1. For this activity, join with another pair to work in a group of four and go to the "Blink Reflex" station at the back of the class. 2. Have the test subject" hold a piece of plastic film in front of their face to act as a barrier. The test subject should position their back against the wall and remain relaxed and calm. 3. The tester will stand approximately 5 paces away from the test subject and will gently throw the soft balls at the test subject (aiming for the plastic film). 4. The remaining two individuals in the group will observe and record (in Table 2 below) whether the test subject blinked or didn't blink when the ball hit the plastic film Do 10 repetitions and calculate the percent of blink responses # of times the test subject blinked) 5. Repeat for EACH member of the group being the test subject. Table 2.
