Hi, I'd like a detailed(long) summary/ answer for this as I'm
very confused. The tumour microenvironment is incredibly complex,
and consists of an assortment of cell types. Focussing on
cancer-associated fibroblasts and endothelial cells, explain how
non-malignant cells within the TME promote tumour growth and
disease progression (60% of marks). Describe the role of
infiltrating immune cells, and regulation of immune cell function,
within the TME (40% of marks).
