I'm wonding where they got the equation for density of states in
two D as D(x)dw = (dk_x)(dk_y) / (2pi/L)^2 ?
Also density of states is used for degenerate fermi gases I
thought.. are they incorrectly using this for a solid or am I miss
understanding this?
If they are incorrect any help on getting this problem started
