violent earthquake hit the Japanese capital" Tokyo" and the central and the north-East regions of the country on Friday, March 11. It created a destructive tsunami ravaged the coast of "Honcio" island. Reports from" Sindia" indicated that people were killed and wounded, in addition to the occurrence of massive damages at a large scale . The nu-electric station in "Onaghafa" was shut down. In addition, this earthquake led to the outbreak of fires in Tokyo and the collapse of residential buildings. Military units were dispatched to the most affected areas, as the president gave orders to send war ships to the areas stroke by tsunami. The outbreak of fire caused an explosion in oil depot belonging to "Kozmo Oil Co" in "Akehara" one of the suburbs of the capital of Japan. According to firefighters statement fire broke out in 14 industrial facilities in Tokyo. The north-east part of the country was inflamed by 48 big fires. The Japanese news agency" Kyodo News" quoted that the prime minister said:"no signs of radioactive leakage from the nuclear power plant". Also the Prime Minster announced that the earthquake and tsunami resulted in a massive destruction where he promised that the government will do everything in its power to mitigate the consequences of the disaster.
