How could you use the method and the results of this experiment to determine whether the speed of sound in air depends upon its frequency? What do your results indicate about such a relationship?
If Eq. 4 provides us with the speed of sound at any temperature, how can we use it along with Eq. 3 to determine the frequency of an unmarked fork?.
Formula = VR=a/ [m/s] 0.999 * 384= 383.62m/s * 0.781 * 440=343.64m/s 0.661 * 512= 338.43m/s 0.401 * 1024= 410.62m/s 3. Use Eq. 4 to calculate velocity, vT. VT=331.5m/s + (0.6m/s°C)T = 331.5m/s + (0.6 * 20.5) = 343.8m/s
