The first conductor is supplied by a current of intensity 11 and the second conductor by a current of intensity 12. 11 = 6A and is perpendicular to the plane of the page in the direction of the page while 12 = 8A and is perpendicular to the page in the direction of you. M = 10-7T.m/A Given: a = 0.5m I1 =8A Iz=6A i 4 + HH a) Find the measure and direction of the magnetic field at point 0 on the x-axis. b) If at point on the x-axis an instantaneous charge q=2 uC is found moving at a velocity of v = 105 m/s (parallel to the x-axis) what force (magnitude and direction) will it receive from the magnetic field? (c) Repeat question (b) for the case where q is moving at v*= 105 j1 m/s (perpendicular to the x-axis)
