On a separate sheet or in the space below, DRAW a histologic (as
though looking through a microscope) image of
a kidney and a bladder and LABEL the following structures.
Kidney:
1. Medulla 2. Cortex 3. Corpuscle 4. Glomerulus
5. Bowman’s/Glomerular Capsule 6. Capsular Space lumen
7. Renal Tubule (either Proximal, Distal or Collecting) Lumen
Be sure to draw the structures appropriately composed of
either:
8. Simple Squamous Epithelial Cells or 9. Simple Cuboidal
Epithelial Cells

Bladder Wall:
1. Mucosa: Transitional Epithelium & Lamina Propria -- Areolar
Connective Tissue
2. Submucosa 3. Detrusor muscle
4. Adventitia -- Only superiorly would this be Serosa / Visceral
Peritoneum
It needs to be a histological drawing.
