(a) [2 marks] Compute the electric field E(r) = E(r)êr for r < Ro and for Ro <r < R. (b) [2 marks] Let Q be the total charge enclosed by the outer sphere with radius R. Assuming Q = 0, use the result from (a) to compute the electric field at the surface of the outer sphere E(R). Why is the result you obtain expected? (c) [2 marks] For the case Q = 0, sketch the function E(r) for 0 <r < R, assuming Pi > 0.
