Three sensed parallels in the Half-plane model Because sensed parallelism is symmetric, if m is right-sensed parallel to e, then we know that is right-sensed parallel to m, and thus, we may simply say that mande are right-sensed parallel. Similarly, if m and ê are parallel, but not sensed parallel, we say they are ultraparallel. We leave the proof of the following theorem as an exercise for the reader.
