Separate the wave function in the form of a even function from the wave function and in the form of a odd function. And don't waste your time standardizing them. Find the energy allowed (if necessary, it can be plotted). How does it compare to the corresponding energy in the absence of a delta function? Explain why the solution in the form of odd function is not affected by the delta function. And discuss the marginal situations of α->0 and a-> ∞
