Observe the two sets of plates.
Determine the CFU/mL of each solution (Normal and Heated),
remembering to use a plate that has between 30-300 colonies. Record
the number of CFU’s (colony forming units) in the table
below. Then multiply the CFU count by the multiplier to
calculate the CFU / mL of the sample. For this example, there are
36 colonies.
