In 1958, the Mass. Ave. bridge between Boston and Cambridge was
measured by MIT students using a human ruler. Using the length of
Oliver R. Smoot Jr., they found the length of the bridge to be
364.4 Smoots + 1 ear. Assuming Smoot was 5.6 ft tall (and had
average sized ears) what is the length of the Mass. Ave. bridge in
feet?
