Calcium can be precipitated as calcium oxalate monohydrate, and the precipitate filtered,
washed, and dissolved in dilute sulfuric acid solution. The oxalic acid formed can then be
titrated with potassium permanganate. If a 0.1000 N solution of potassium permanganate
is used, calculate the value of 1.000 mL in terms of (a) calcium, (b) calcium oxide, (c)
calcium carbonate.
