Consider two identical rings of matter of mass M of radius R, with their centers at £20, and orbital planes parallel to the X-Y plane. Assume that the rings are wire like, i.e. neglect their its cross section. Assume also that their masses are uniformly distributed over each ring. Calculate the gravitational potential at a test point on the Z-axis plane located at a distance zt from the origin. Calculate the direction and magnitude of the gravitational force on the test body of mass mt.
