The air temperature and volume inside an automobile tire are 25o
C, and 0.025 m3 respectively, when the pressure gage reads 210 kPa
(note: this is a gage pressure). The atmospheric pressure is 100
kPa. Given: Rair = 0.287 kJ/kg K. Determine: (a) the mass of air
inside the tire. (b) The gage pressure in the tire when the
temperature of air inside the tire reaches 50oC (assume constant
volume)
