5. (15) Your company has developed a novel direct process to form urea (NH2)2CO by the reaction: 2 NH3 + CO2 → (NH2)2CO + H2O. The reaction is to be carried out in a fixed bed reactor Reactor with recycle of unreacted species. The overall feed Sep. composition (stream 1) is 59 mol% NH3, 34 mol% CO2, and 7 mol% N2 (inert). The single pass NH3 conversion is 61% and the purge ratio (~,/na) is 25%. The membrane separator allows all the urea to exit in stream 5 and none of the other components. For a feed rate of 100 kmol/hr (stream 1), find the molar flow rate of NH3 in stream 2, the molar flow rate of NH3 in stream 7, and the overall conversion based on NH3.
