Notes and Important things to know:
1. Input Table 1 into a new spreadsheet. You will submit this as
part of your lab report as a PDF file.
2. Calculate the missing values in Table 1- the equilibrium
concentration and the K value
for each trial. Do these calculations using formulas in the
spreadsheet, not doing them by
hand and then typing in the values.
3. Create a complete, labeled plot of ln(K) vs. 1/T. Fit a
linear regression to the data.
Include this plot in the Data section of the report and submit the
spreadsheet you used.
4. Use the regression equation to calculate the enthalpy of
reaction for this reaction. Show
this calculation in the Data section of the report.

Table 1: Equilibrium concentrations and K for Fe3+ (aq) + SCN (aq) + [FeSCN]2+ (aq). [Fe3+] = 1.00x10 Mand (SCN); = 4.00x104 M for all trials. You will fill in the missing values as part of your calculations. Trial # Temp. (K) Absorbance [Fe3+ Jeg (SCN Jeg [FeSCN] *e K value (@equil) 1 298 K 0.207 2 278 K 0.249 3 318 K 0.187 لا لا
