Gate, jump and the weir are all located on a 8 ft wide concrete channel (n=0.013, So = 0.1%). Determine: (a) The flow rate, (b) The normal depth, (c) The critical depth, (d) Depth at section 2 before jump (y2), (e) Depth at section 3 after jump (v3), and (f) Depth at section 4 just upstream of weir (54).
