The building is represented by point A, the center of the building, and is 300 meters to the river at the cast and 150 meters to an impermeable fault at the south. The river is perpendicular to the impermeable fault . Coordinates of the pumping well (open circle) and point A are shown in the figure. The river is 20 m above mean sea level. Given this river stage condition, what constant pumping rate (m /day) from the pumping well is needed in order to lower the groundwater level at Point A from 20 m to 15 m after 10 days of groundwater pumping?
