25% - Water is the working fluid in an ideal Rankine cycle. The pressure and temperature at the turbine inlet are 1600 psia and 1100F, respectively, and the condenser pressure is 1.0 psia. The mass flow rate of steam entering the turbine is 1.4x100 lbm/hr. The cooling water used in the condenser, experiences a temperature increase from 60 to 80F, with negligible pressure drop, as it passes through the condenser. Determine for the cycle: 1. Draw a graph of the cycle on a T-s plot and start with naming point 1 the inlet of steam to the turbine and then pt. 2 is the exit from the turbine etc... 2. Form a table which lists the enthalpy values of all the thermodynamic states а of this cycle using the numbering system suggested in 1. 3. The net power developed, in Btu/hr 4. The thermal efficiency 5. The mass flow rate of the cooling water in the condenser
