A mixing operation is to be automated using a sequential process control method. The process is composed of the following steps: i. Filling the tank to a volume of 25 litres with 12.5 litres of liquid A being supplied by pump P1 and 12.5 litres of liquid B being supplied by P2. ii. Agitating the mixture of liquids for 15 minutes. iii. Activating pump P3 to drain the tank for use in another part of the process.
