Three single-phase 60 kVA 2200V/220V identical transformers are connected Star- Delta in a 3-phase bank to step down the voltage at the load end. The voltage at the primary sides of the bank is 3800 volts (line to line). On the secondary sides, the transformers supply a balanced 3-phase load. For one of the three single-phase transformers, with the instrument located on the high- voltage side and the low-voltage side short-circuited, the short-circuit test readings are 46 volts, 27.3 amperes, and 750 watts. (i) Find the equivalent impedance of the transformer bank referred to high voltage side and low voltage side, respectively; (ii) Determine the voltage regulation of the transformer bank at full-load, 0.8 power factor lagging.
