Kindly help me with part B and C I already did part A
(a) The incremental fuel costs in $/MWh of two generating units at a plant are: = dfi 11 = 0.25Pg1 + 40 dPg1 df2 12 = 0.3P,2 + 30 dPg2 Assume that both units are operating at all times and the total load varies from 40 MW to 250 MW. (i) How will a load of 200 MW be shared? What is the corresponding value of plant incremental cost? (ii) Find the savings in $/h for economic dispatch of load between the units compared with sharing the output equally when the total plant output is 250 MW. [10] (b) Determine the primary ALFC loop parameters for a control area having the following data: Total rated area capacity, Pr = 2000 MW Normal operating load, Po = 1000 MW Inertia constant, H = 5.0 sec Regulation, R = 2.4 Hz/p.u. MW Frequency, f = 60 Hz Take apo 10 MW and af = 0.6 Hz. [4] Two areas are interconnected. The generating capacity of area A is 36,000 MW and its regulating characteristic is 1.5% of capacity/0.1 Hz. Area B has a generating capacity of 40,000 MW and its regulating characteristic is 1.0% of capacity/0.1 Hz. Determine each areas share of a +400 MW disturbance occuring in area B and the resulting tie-flow. [6]
