Problem 3 Given that the system function of a causal system is given by 6 2 -10 + 2 z 2-3 + 2 Z Z H(z) = 2 (a) Use the MATLAB function residue to find the partial fraction constants of H(z). (b) Use these constants computed in (a) to write an expression for H(z). (c) Using your answer of part (b), find the inverse z-transform of H(z), i.e., find h(n). The system function in terms of negative powers of z, can be written as 6-10 -1 + 2 - 2 H(Z) = Z z 1-3 -1 +2 -2 z z (d) Use the MATLAB function residuez to find the partial fraction constants of H(2). (e) Use these constants computed in (d) to write an expression for H(z). (1) Using your answer of part (e), find the inverse z-transform of H(z), i.e., find h(n). Compare your results with those of (c).
