The school district would like to ascertain the effect of October's ending of daylight saving time on school attendance, because other schools have found that the extra hour of daylight in the morning makes it easier for some students to get to school. There are 14 schools in the district; it records the number of students absent on the last Thursday of daylight saving time and then again on the first Thursday of non-daylight saving time. The num- bers of absences are listed in the table. Does the end of daylight saving time decrease school absence? Use parts (a)-(o) from Exercise 3.
