For the following Nyquist plots of loop transmission functions of feedback control systems, answer the questions. a. (6 pts) The loop transmission has one zero and four poles. Two poles are at the origin, two poles are in the open right-half plane (ORHP), and the zero is in the ORHP. Use Nyquist plot 3a and the Nyquist Stability Criterion to find the number of unstable closed loop poles. b. (6 pts) Closed loop system has two unstable poles. For the Nyquist plot 3b (note the_zoom around the critical point), use the Nyquist Stability Criterion to determine how many unstable poles (if any) the loop transmission has. c. (8 pts) The loop transmission KT(S) for a Type 1 system has two zeros and six poles. One zero and one pole are in the ORHP. The Nyquist plot for the loop transmission is figure 3c (K=1). Using the Nyquist Stability Criterion, determine the number (if any) of unstable closed loop poles for every positive value of the loop transmission proportional gain K (define intervals of K and the number of unstable closed loop poles for each interval).
