their content below each subheading.

Project Analysis:
(1) Analysis is a process of
collecting factual data, understand the processes involved,
identifying problems and recommending feasible suggestions for
improving the system functioning.
(2) It involves studying the
business processes, gathering operational data, understanding the
information flow, finding out bottlenecks and evolving solutions
for overcoming the weaknesses of the system so as to achieve the
organizational goals.
(3) It also includes the
subdividing of complex process involving the entire system,
identification of data store and manual processes.

Deliverables:
The major objectives of the analysis
needs to answers the following questions for each business process
related to the project:
(a) What is being done?
(b) How is it being done?
(c) Who is doing it?
(d) When is it being done?

Why is it being done?
(f) How can it be

Deliverables:
(1) The completed normalized
database should be complex enough so that there are at least 4
entities when the database in in final 3NF.
(2) Draw the fully normalized
Dependency Diagram in 3NF
(a) It should look like a
series of one row tables where each table is one entity
(b) Each entity name should be
above or on the left of each entity table
(c) The primary key(s) should
be underlined and noted with a (PK) after each primary key
(d) The foreign key(s) should
be underlined and noted with a (FK) after each foreign key
(f) Save the
diagram with the name: Lab 12 – Project Dependency
Diagram
(3) Draw the fully
normalized Entity Relation Diagram in 3NF
(a) To be included in the
diagram:
[1] The entity names
[2] All of the primary
keys
[3] All of the foreign
keys
[4] The relationships
showing the direct drawn line connections between the primary and
foreign keys and not just the entity names
(c) Use the crows foot
method to draw the diagram including all cardinalates, entities,
relationships, etc.
