Description: You are required to design a software system that manage an ice-cream store. A part of their software requirement is given below. You also are required to do a self-study on how ice-cream stores function and create a design for managing the same.
Requirements: A new local ice cream store is due to open in a few months. The store offers different ice cream flavors. An ice cream is served either in a cup or cone. The store also offers two toppings, hot fudge or hot caramel, which can be applied over any type of ice cream. However, toppings are optional to an order. There is a shopkeeper whose job is to assemble ice cream orders to customers. The shopkeeper also checks inventory levels for each of the items mentioned above and cannot offer ice creams that are low on inventory levels. The ice cream store would also like the ability to remove or change the price of any inventory item in case its sales is not as high as expected. The system is also able to show the total number of ice creams sold and respective earnings for a day.
