Give ONE example to show how a process can be terminated. (4 marks) (c) When a process is created, a “stack” is prepared in memory to accommodate for data of the process. Briefly explain what contents/information are normally contained in the stack. (4 marks) (d) In an operating system, two different protection mechanisms can be used for access control from subjects to objects, namely Capability List and Access Control List. For the following protection problems, explain which of these mechanisms should be used and why. • User A wants his files readable by everyone except User B; User C and User Dwant to share some secret files.
