INTRO TO LOGIC
Using the symbolization key given, symbolize each of the
following sentences.
K: Keith has a red shirt.
S: Stan has a red shirt.
R: Rose has a white shirt.
C: The colors bleed.
M: We will do laundry on Monday.
T: We will do laundry on Tuesday.
Oh no, the colors bled!
One but not both of Stan and Keith has a red
shirt.
If both Keith and Stan have a red shirt, then we will do
laundry on Monday.
Stan has a red shirt, but Keith doesn’t.

.
Stan has a red shirt only if Keith has one,
too.
Unless we do laundry on Monday, we will do laundry on
Tuesday.
Keith has a red shirt if and only if Rose has a white
shirt.
If Keith has a red shirt and Rose has a white shirt,
then we will do laundry neither on Monday nor Tuesday.
