On the left side, pull the derivative inside the integral sign, wherein it becomes a partial derivative. This will lead to a formula for the Laplace transform of a function with a linearly growing pseudo-amplitude. We saw this “secular” function when we studied undamped resonance (sect. 4.3). Is the formula a “frequently encountered Laplace transform,” in Table 6.1 on p. 626?
