For #23, leaning towards d) as the AIC value is the lowest
compared to adding the other variables. Not 100% sure
#24, think d) 25 is the answer by doing the calculation but want
to double check.
#25, I'm pretty sure training is greater than testing so either
10:1 or 9:1. About 50-50 split between the 2 options.
Please provide an explanation as to why you gave that option as
your choice. Thanks.
Question 23 (4 points) The following is one of the steps after applying a Forward Stepwise Selection function on a dataset where 'mpg' is the dependen Step: AIC=63. 84 mp wt + hp Df Sum of sq RSS AIC + drat 1 11.3659 183.68 63.919 + qsec 1 8.9885 186.86 64.331 + disp1 0.0571 194.99 65.831 which would be the best multiple linear regression model? 0 mpg - wt + hp + disp 0 mpg - wt + hp + qsec a mpg - Wt + hp + drat mpg - Wt + hp

Question 24 (4 points) What is the Euclidean distance between the two data points? X(1, 30, 20, 18, 100) and Y(1, 20, 10, 38, 105) 125 225 45 15 25

Question 25 (4 points) For a 10-fold cross validation setting, what will be the proportion of training examples in each iteration? Number of training examples: Number of test examples 10:1 1:9 1:10 9:1
