OPTICS OPTICS I - QUESTIONS 1. In the diagram below, MN represents a plane reflecting surface and AB represents an object (in the form of an arrow). Dashed lines A, and A2 represent two light rays emanating from point A toward the mirror; dashed lines B, and B2 represent two rays from point B. By careful construction (using rulers, protractors, and compasses as needed) draw solid lines to show the path taken by each of these light rays after it reflects from the mirror. Also, draw dashed lines to show how you can locate the virtual images of points A and B. Label these image points A' and B' respectively. Finally, connect points A' and B' to show the location of the entire image. MEASURE ALL ANGLES FROM THE NORMALS, AND BE SURE TO DRAW THE NORMALS IN YOUR DIAGRAM. N А. Ai Az B B B2
