Hello Everyone,
During my study, I read the textbook and reviewed the edapt. I
learned that there are several subspecialty areas of pharmacology.
I also learned that “throughout the development process of a drug
it will acquire three different names” (Lilley, et al, 2019). One
name that describes its chemical composition, and a generic name
that is most commonly used in the drug lists. Another name the drug
will acquire is its trade name, which s the name of the drug for
commercial use. For example, Tylenol is one trade name for
Acetaminophen. So far, I don’t have any questions regarding the
reading or the material.
