Two students were performing an experiment of the solubility
equilibria of Ca(OH)2 which is exothermic by
titrating it with HCl. At their 2nd trial, student A ran out
of distilled water. He acquired some distilled water stored in the
refrigerator. Meanwhile, Student B overtitrated his trial. What
will happen to their respective results?
a. Both students will obtain a higher calculated
Ksp.
b. Both students will obtain a lower calculated
Ksp.
c. Student A will obtain a higher calculated Ksp, but
student B will still get an accurate value.
d. Student A will still get an accurate value, but Student B
will obtain a higher calculated Ksp.
