(a) State the mode(s) and calculate the range of the
data.
(b) Work out the values of the quartiles Q1, Q2, and Q3 and hence
the interquartile range of their scores. (6 marks)
(c) An outlier is an observation whose value is less than the lower
quartile Q1 minus 1.5 times the interquartile range. The company
director decides that any employee whose score is an outlier will
have to undergo retraining.
Determine whether there are any employees who need retraining. Show
