A piece of thin wall polypropylene (diameter of 254mm) is
rotated about its longitudinal axis at
a speed of 2500 RPM. How long does it take for the diameter of the
pipe to increase by 1mm,
and how long does for an increase of 2mm? Density of the material
is 900 kg/cubic metre. ( Problems based upon Crawford’s
