A force T of 2.2kN is applied to the cable at D. The cable
force holds the weight of the Pole which has a pin connection
at its end A. The cable is connected at C..
a) Draw a free body diagram of the pole BCA for the state of
equilibrium.
b) Calculate the magnitude of the force at A.
c) Calculate the diameter of the pin at A based for an allowable
shear stress of 50 MPa.
