Q1. The domain is shown below. Find the steady-state temperatures on the inner nodes T(1,1), T(2,1), and T(3,1) using Finite Volume method (Control Volume approach). The boundary conditions shown in the figure are fixed. Thermal conductivity of the material is k = 0.49 cal/(sec.cm. C). Use Liebmann Method to solve for the unknown temperatures. Use a relaxation factor of 1 = 1.3. Perform two (2) iterations. After the second iteration, evaluate the percent error between the iteration 1 and 2 temperature values, and identify the max. error. The nodes are equally spaced. Use the dimensions indicated in the figure; the figure itself not drawn to scale. 60°C (0,2) (1.2) (2.2) (3,2) (4,2) + (1.1) (2.1) (3,1) 4 cm (4.1) 45°C 95°C (0,1) (0,0) (1,0) (2,0) (3,0) (4,0) 120°C 8 cm
