1. A tracking radar detects an unknown aircraft flying at a range r as shown in Figure 1. The radar points continually at the aircraft. The aircraft is moving at a speed of 1800 km/hr along the r-direction, and is speeding up at a rate of 50 m/s, on a curved path whose instantaneous centre of curvature is 1 km. Assume that the aircraft is flying in the vertical 1-y plane.
