A 4-pole, lap‐connected, separately-excited D.C. motor has 43
slots on armature and each slot has 8 conductors. The motor has an
armature resistance of 0.3 Ω and the magnetic flux per pole is
0.015 Wb. If the motor draws an armature current of 8 A from a 120
V D.C. supply, evaluate
(a) the back emf of the motor,
(b) the motor speed in rev/min, and
(c) the torque developed by the motor.
