1. For a concrete form work design; what is the maximum
spacing (in) for sheeting supporting members, if the pressure on
the formwork is 450 psf, face grain perpendicular to grain and
plywood bending stress F’b = 1545 psi.
The plywood thickness is 1” and it is supported at four supports
with face grain perpendicular to span?

2. For a concrete form work design; A 2”x8” joists were used.
The joists were supported on beams over 3 spans. The spacing of
joists is 18”. The pressure on the formwork is 200 psf.
What is the maximum allowable spacing of beams (in)?

3. For a concrete form work design; A 2”x10” stringers were
used. The stringers were supported on Shores over 2 spans. The
spacing of stringers is 60”. The pressure on the formwork is
150 psf. What is the maximum allowable spacing of shores (in)?
