Given the attached topo map (note the scale and provided
“scale”) and the following information and guidance:
Design storm frequency is 25 years.
For the street, instead of Mannings, assume a gutter velocity of
1.8 ft/s
The residential development has only impervious areas with a
C=0.9 (house, street) and grassy area with a C=0.30
Development is located in Intensity Zone C (use ODOT IDF
equation for rainfall intensity and the ODOT time of concentration
equations)
Clearly mark the assumed travel path for rain-water on the
figure for which you are using to make the time of concentration
calculations
